Second successful Golf Day for KZN Coastal Branch

One of the highlights for the KZN Coastal branch of the Institute of Safety Management is no doubt their annual Golf Day. This year it took place on the 11th of September 2009 where the teams took to the greens at the Amanzimtoti Golf Club. The weather was glorious apart from the almost gale force winds that came up from nowhere just after lunch sending many a ball off in the wrong direction and for some in the right direction, eventually.

We were fortunate and extremely grateful in garnering Dr Romona Francis to volunteer her services and advice to all who needed it. After a very strenuous day on the field, maneuvering from one green to the next in their little Golf Carts and occasionally being served a “cold one” or two or three there were quite a few in need of attention from the good doctor.

A scrumptious dinner preceded presentations of gifts to all participants.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who assisted with the preparations especially Elishya Abbu (Master Builders KZN), Jeshika Singh (Stefanutti Stocks Building KZN) and Colin Hull who was on hand to take some great pictures of the event.
